a word of advice to pnms

by: PH

Above all else, don't come into recruitment with an attitude. FSU's Panhellenic is one of the most well-respected in the country; even the so-called lower tier and newer sororities have won multiple awards and are highly respected within their respective organizations. The girls who are in them have already found their homes within Greek life and are happy and comfortable where they are. You are a guest in their homes and you need to act as such. Panhellenic has been considering changing the "three strikes, you're out" rule to "two strikes, you're out;" it may even be enforced during this upcoming recruitment. If you are rude to a recruiter and she reports you, you'll be walking on very thin ice.

Go into it with an open mind. Think of all the hard work everyone has put into impressing you and making you feel welcome. If you can't appreciate that, you need to re-evaluate why you want to join Greek life in the first place.
