opinions on sororities doing socials w each other?

Like two sororities and two frats all doing a social together? We tried that at my school a couple years ago and it didn't really work out. Most of the bars didn't have room for that many people, and since each sorority only gets a certain number of socials, it was hard to find two sororities and two frats that all got along well enough to choose that instead of a normal social. Also there were a couple sororities who's nationals/advisors didn't allow it for some reason.
If you just meant two sororities having a social with each other, that could kinda work. We have sisterhood events like that at my school. It's usually stuff like movie nights, bowling, combined dinner at one of the houses etc... and they're decently fun. We don't have them at bars or anything though and there's usually only 20-30 girls from each chapter that actually show up (the girls who already have friends in the other sorority).

Us and another sorority had a date function together and it was an absolute blast! Just make sure your chapter stays classy because other girls in the other chapter will be quick to judge sometimes(sadly)
