exec boards
by: NolesDoes anyone not like the exec board for their fraternity or sorority? I feel like my current eboard is holding our chapter back and just doesn't know how to properly run a Greek organization. People want to kick them out of power, but I don't know if that's the answer. Has any chapter experiences this before? How do new eboards get elected? Are they usually younger members or are they older members who have held multiple chair positions and had experience?

By your question at the end I'm guessing you're in a lower or middle tier group currently going through some struggles. Sorority eboards are usually slated I think. Fraternities go by popular vote. Yes your exec board should be held by juniors and seniors who have been around and held chair positions and know how things run. If you feel like you could do a better job I'm sure your bylaws have an impeachment process somewhere in there. But sometimes chapters need to go through certain growing pains in order to grow.
