miami guys
by: knights15Im a Miami guy who has a Hispanic last name but I dont see myself rushing any of the traditional "sofla" frats. When people find out I'm from Miami they actually say they couldn't tell. Do I have any shot at joining an old school style frat? Or am I pretty much screwed cuz I'm from Miami

No offense but you sound like you lack confidence.
It's easy here. If you want to be in a 'southern' fraternity like KA or Pi Kappa Phi then dress like that and focus on making friends there. You don't have to put on an act, just fit in.
I don't think there is a 'traditional south florida fraternity' here, unless it's Phi Sig.

Yeah that's what I mean, Chi Phi has a solid mix of southern "fratty" guys and SoFlo guys
