DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT EVEN WASTE ANY ENGERY THINKING ABOUT JOINING THIS SRAT IN THE SPRING LADIES! One of the best comments I’ve seen about this srat is that they embody basic insanity, doing the same wrong things over and over and over and seeing the same terrible results. These girls cannot catch a break, low numbers, low philanthropy money raised, barely any srat or frat wants to work or associate with them, constantly having to recruit but barely any women staying, and not caring what type of women they recruit. Recent sisters and ex sisters have stated how mean a lot of girls are in this srat, headquarters doesnt gaf about them and won’t help sisters who have had major issues in the chapter, getting an exec position and regular position is all about popularity and not experience, how cliques matter 100%, and even leaked that they are probably going to leave campus and disband. If you wanna be apart of a chapter that’s sinking faster than the Titanic and just used you for money and temporary number, then that’s one you, but if you listen to even ONE POST on GR let it be this one. Be warned.

All I’m gonna say is that finally leaving this sorority was the biggest breath of fresh air that I have taken in a long time.

I honestly don’t understand this srat. They tell their sisters not to read or believe any of the posts on GR, but then they come on here lurking and bringing down other chapters and getting angry when the info that their chapter is likely disbanding is leaked? Like, what is it? Do you not “care”, or do you just tell others that you don’t care about GR to save face from the fact that you’re pissed off over people on here not believing in your “sisterhood”. Obviously angry, due to the amount of posts that get deleted that expose alpha gam and how horrible a majority of the members are and how they are just using these girls for money and to stay just a hair above good standing. PNMs and members that haven’t been initiated yet, leave. Just leave. Go to another srat or drop as fast as you can. These girls won’t care about you as soon as they learn you’re leaving.

Now your own sisters are asking anonymously about contingency plans for after alpha gam. Your own members have lost faith in you, for promising them lies and taking their money.

This is a message to all ex sisters who have been wronged by this organization. I’ve already started doing this and I know a couple of others who have as well. Email nationals with all of your complaints and let’s finally be heard. This ruse needs to finally end. I’ll repost this if it gets deleted.

Since y’all wanna keep spending your money on deleting GR posts instead of helping your chapter, imma keep reposting my comment. I told everyone that I left this chapter because of money issues, which is partly true because I couldn’t ask my family to pay $3000+ anymore. But the true reason was the members, and I was right to leave due to them all ghosting me now. I was left out of recruitment multiple times, wasn’t allowed the same opportunities, no big little, and wasn’t heard when I spoke out against cliques and unfair decisions made by the chapter. It was too late for me to figure out that this chapter never even wanted me in the first place, I found out much later that they only wanted me for my money and overall numbers, which hurt. I think it’s ironic that they speak out against KD and DG when they have their own instances of ràcísm and ignorance as well. I think if the claims by me and my ex sisters are taken seriously then IHQ needs to step in or shut down the chapter.

I think the kicker for this chapter will be that PNMs can take one quick look at this site and ask other Panhellenic members and quickly realize that the chapter doesn’t want YOU, it wants your MONEY and NUMBERS to be barely in good standing. That’s it. They desperately need money and numbers so they’ll take any girl who has the slightest bit of interest. What the girls who fall for it don’t realize is that many of them are there from being promised an experience they’ll never get. I doubt they care about any of the girls who aren’t in the top cliques or on the board or have a position. They’ll never rise through the chapter or be respected by other chapters. It’s downright cruel to just accept a girl into your chapter just for money and numbers and not for what she could bring to the chapter and the community. Ladies, stop falling for it. Go to a chapter that wants YOU, not just money and numbers and fake promises.

The kicker for me in this chapter was when I’d try to connect with sisters from other chapters of alpha gamma delta (because my own chapter offered none of the sisterhood that they said they would when we were rushing), the sisters would ghost me as soon as they heard/realized that I was from the Florida state chapter. It honestly hurt so bad every time it happened. Turns out other chapters outside of fsu are actually really good and looked down on the fsu chapter pretty intensely.

I told ONE sister I was leaving because I was just so fed up with the internal drama, and when I left I saw my followers drop instantly almost every time I refreshed. “Sisters” blocking me left and right. I was so heartbroken, I thought we could still continue being friends after but I guess not. I decided to speak out about how I was treated, and a bunch of the same sisters who blocked me harassed me over social media, completely invalidating every single complaint I had. I honestly don’t know what to make of my former sorority anymore, but it is for sure nothing like what I thought it would be.
