I am an active member of a sorority at a different university. If I were to transfer to Drake, can I transfer into that sorority as well or do I have to go through recruitment again?

as long as we have your sorority, you will not have to go through recruitment again. Especially considering, sorority membership is for a lifetime and you wouldn't be able to rush for another sorority.

The chapter at drake has to accept you. Sororities are NOT required to take transfers. For example, if your sorority was bottom at your school, you may not be accepted into that sorority at your transfer school if they happen to be top.
Also, even if they let you into their chapter, you may not even fit in. You could possibly feel like an outcast and people will already have friend groups!
