Drake University - DU 3.8 About 3x more involvement in FSL at Drake compared to average school, fewer sororities than fraternities but way more members per, some houses (especially the srats surprisingly) haze but mostly harmless. Admin is very anti Greek life, Drake will probably be the first of the big 4 in Iowa to get rid of FSL as a whole eventually.

Drake University - DU 2.5 Drake's Fraternity and Sorority Life is pretty strong, but that's in spite of campus's best efforts. Dean Parker has done his best to target greek life as a scourge to be wiped from the campus by setting up a double standard of enforcement between non-Greek organizations and FSL, and administration continues to be hostile towards ideas that can be beneficial for greek life and the Drake community as a whole. Absurdly restrictive rules have been put in place in recent memory that have harmed the cohesion and fun atmosphere that is inherent to any Greek system. While our fraternities and sororities are still fantastic, fun, inclusive, and accepting, the administration at Drake University is not friendly towards the idea of greek life. Just my two cents.

Drake University - DU 4.5 Drake FSL likes to promote that greek life act Drake is different than at big schools, but that really is true!! They do a great job to make sure their members are safe and feel welcomed into the community right away. They show their members lots of ways to get involved across campus from the beginning. this is an overall great community to join!

Drake University - DU 4.8 Love Drake Greek life! So far from stereotypical Greek life. They make up such a large percentage of campus and are inclusive and great people.

Drake University - DU 4.5 Greek life is not like it is at a big school, this site is very interesting to me because it is a lot more dramatic than it is in real life. We are Panhellenic as heck and I honestly don't think there is a house that I would be unhappy in. @ girls/guys looking at this for recruitment, go with your gut, have an open mind, don't pay attention to the political bs on this website.
