I have one friend in FIJI, aside from that, they are all not the nicest bunch of guys. Sure there are a couple in there, but overall, not good. They think so highly of themselves and are flat out rude people. They don't play well with other fraternities on campus, and rarely socialize outside of interactions with Phi. Yes there are some nice guys in there, but majority not. They are a top house only because the rest of the houses aren't great.

They have the student body president, throw the biggest party of the year, and have pretty nice members. They are the tightest knit house at drake. I have fun with these guys!

the parties i've been to at FIJI were kind of lame. in order to get in you have to name at least 5 guys you know, and they watered down their shots. It was frustrating and at all events they are at, they do it for competition and not for the wellness, goodsport ect. Overall, my least favorite fraternity because they are indeed stuck up in some ways (granted not all, but quite a few)- at least the one's i have met. Come on guys, step it up!

I can say for a fact that at least two of the things you said in your post are completely false.

I have been to a few of their parties, they are usually crowded which is overwhelming if you do not know more than a couple FIJIs. Like every registered event at Drake they have a guest list, you do not need to know 5 FIJIs. You only need to know the person that invited you. Drake only allows canned beer and no liqour. Their larger parties have members from both IFC and panhel in attendance from other houses so I know they know shots were not served.

I like most of the houses here, but Drake's FIJI's are the most genuine guys on campus who work hard and play hard. Best parties hands down. Strongest brotherhood, too. I've been here 3 years; Fiji is the top house now.

Best fraternity on the street. This years pledge class is spot on. Not only are these men involved on campus, they have a strong brotherhood and aren't stuck up like other fraternities are.

FIJI IS THE WORST. They are the preppy country club guys who are stuck up and frankly, mean. They don't act with any other sorority than PHI and are rude to other fraternities and sororities. They are anything but panhellenic.

They have a small circle that thinks they're great, but most of campus would consider them average dudes that are more than likely compensating for something.

They are full of theater kids which could either be negative or positive depending on your personality. Extremely standoffish, however. They strut like a top house but are often laughed off by the other fraternities, except for Phi, who they associate with almost exclusively. They claim to have a tightly knit brotherhood, but don't account for other houses like Theta Chi and Sigma Chi, who are both known specifically for their strong bond. Pledge class was uniquely strange last semester.
