sophomore transfer
by: TransfeeI'm transferring to DePaul next fall and am considering joining a frat. Not looking to be in one with a bunch of douchebags though, how is depauls Greek system and in all honestly which fraternities are more down to earth/ care about brotherhood and treat girls right more than caring about getting in girls pants 24 7? Also do frats here have pledgeship? Thanks

I'll tell you this, DePaul Greek Life is about 10% of student body. That's what happens when you come to a city school. No Greek Row, not a huge IFC presence. However I do suggest you come to some IFC events at the beginning of the year, that's where all the frats are (and how I found mine). You'll get rush schedules and contact info from just about everyone, and it's up to you to decide which house you like the most. I won't tell you the hierarchy here cause honestly we're all about the same.

there's supposed to be a new frat colonizing within the next year I believe? not exactly the same, but it could be interesting?
