sophomore transfer

by: Transfee

I'm transferring to DePaul next fall and am considering joining a frat. Not looking to be in one with a bunch of douchebags though, how is depauls Greek system and in all honestly which fraternities are more down to earth/ care about brotherhood and treat girls right more than caring about getting in girls pants 24 7? Also do frats here have pledgeship? Thanks

I think the tier system is stupid, just wana know honest opinions about each one as a whole, brotherhood is the most important thing to me

Honestly the 2 I would look at would be Sig Ep and sigma chi. Both are similar in the brotherhood and involvement, Sigep parties a bit more. Meet the brothers of both fraternities and see what you think.

I'll tell you this, DePaul Greek Life is about 10% of student body. That's what happens when you come to a city school. No Greek Row, not a huge IFC presence. However I do suggest you come to some IFC events at the beginning of the year, that's where all the frats are (and how I found mine). You'll get rush schedules and contact info from just about everyone, and it's up to you to decide which house you like the most. I won't tell you the hierarchy here cause honestly we're all about the same.
