You're going to read a lot of stuff about every sorority on here. Some of it is true, some of it isn't. Please do not base your opinions on what you read on here (or at the very least not solely). Go through recruitment and let that help determine where you belong, as they say: trust the process. Every sorority has positives and negatives too it, whether they're ranked top or bottom tier. But I've also never met someone within greek life who didn't have amazing things to say about at least some of her chapter/sisters. People in bottom tier chapters end up having fantastic times with their best friends, people in top tier chapters end up not getting the sisterhood they wanted, and vice versa.
Trust the process, and give them a chance after bid day. You do have some time while pledging to figure out if you fit or not, but do not give up because you didn't get your number one (or two, or three) choice. If after a few weeks, you still feel like you're not making friends, by all means drop, but give it a few weeks to be sure that you're not leaving a group of women who could be great friends.
