Im in a frat at a big state school, thinking of transferring to DPU. Are the parties fun here??

You should NOT base whether or not you transfer to a school based on whether or not the parties are "fun".

It is definitely a different kind of scene. There are no sorority or frat houses at DePaul, but we still do socials and things like that around the city. The party scene is more based on bars and the chicago party scene. There are some house/apartment parties though!

House parties are pretty weak but the bar scene can't be topped. If you're 21 or have a good fake, the entire city of Chicago will be your frat house.
