rush?
by: HmmmHi! Can anyone explain the rounds of sorority rush to me and how it works? I rushed at Mizzou, didn't join a house, and decided to transfer to DPU. Greek life is huge at mizzou and they have houses, so I am extremely curious and confused about how it works at DPU.

Hi! So basically during rush you go around to a bunch of classrooms or large rooms in the student center. You talk to girls then you leave. It is VERY, VERY SERIOUS. (not). When you join a sorority, there are events kinda sporadically and you have chapter once a week. In a classroom. Lol.

I actually also transferred from mizzou and ended up joining a sorority here this year. I'm so glad i didn't at mizzou because it's definitely a lot more low key than mizzou was and i've grown close to many of my sisters and made lots of good friends but also have plenty of time to do things outside of greek life, which i felt wasn't the case at mizzou.
