So this site... is disappointing. It’s honestly worse and more toxic than state schools’ pages. And it’s sad because DePaul has such a great, small/close greek life.

The problem is that people only come to this site to write mean things about others or completely overhype themselves. Two bad extremes. There’s no discussion, no honesty, no compassion. DePaul greek life is so much better than this. That’s why we all joined. We didn’t join for this state school like level of toxicity.

In a perfect world, we could have fun, open discussions on this site with new anonymous fellow greek members that you wouldn’t have engaged in conversation with before. We could talk about events, speculations, semis. We could actively cheer on other chapters during fundraising events, ex complementing someones dance for derby day. We could encourage participation. We could hype up recruitment videos. You might originally not talk to them in person, but here, we can all support one another. (Ik there are some positive, unbiased posts on this site, but they are far outweighed. There’s also just not too much discussion/responsiveness in general)

I think moving forward, we can really improve our greek life if we just keep in mind discussion, honesty, and compassion
