Regarding the winter/spring question below, I know you said it depends on the chapter, but usually which chapters do winter and which do spring? just based off of how it's been the past few years

I know my sorority starts recruiting in the winter basically to just get to know girls but we seriously begin COB recruitment in the spring

Potentially, every time you interact with a member of any NPC group they may unofficially be reviewing you for consideration (or not) for membership according to their group standards. Just something to keep in mind even if some houses do not recruit this Winter/Spring.

NPC is big on the buzzphrase, "You are always wearing your letters", another reason to mind your p's and q's at all times and not just during official recruitments.
