You won’t know. You have to be personally invited from the sororities to COB. That means you have to know people in the chapters and they have to be able to vouch for you. It also looks bad if you withdrew from formal recruitment because you didn’t get a certain house and then try to join a house you purposefully blew off.

What if the people in sororities already have an idea of who they want to contact but the people they want to contact already joined different sororities during formal recruitment/dropped but weren’t interested in informal recruitment? Or do they get a list of people who dropped/are interested in informal recruitment and they pick people to informally recruit from the list of those people? Or how does the whole thing work?

You should have stuck with the formal recruitment process and trusted the process if you wanted to be a sorority this badly. . COB is closed process and so selective, your chances of being selected to COB are slim. Stop asking a billion questions on here and either contact panhel or wait for fall recruitment next year.

how do they know to contact you? do they have your contact information? also who contacts you? the president of the sorority? sorry for all the questions, but if you were to get invited back, what time do invitations to COB usually start going out?
