Does chi-o usually informally recruit? How they been past couple years regarding informal recruitment?

they have a high retention rate so they typically do not. This year they actually had the most girls rank them as #1 after pref tea compared to any other chapter so i doubt they will be taking anyone

My roommate is a chi O and they did actually do really well this year. But all chapters usually COB at least a few girls every year so just stay on the lookout!

I feel like Chi O doesn't really COB because of how long it takes to get initiated

I know they and AOII have carried girls as pledges over summer though. like a girl in my class was COB for AOII and she wasn't initiated until the next year

I’ve only heard aopi do that once and on request of the cob. I lived with one during that time.

Chio, DZ, DG usually don’t do informal recruitment. it’s all a number game- like the person said above- if they have very few girls drop they don’t have to do informal recruitment. (Usually chapters take on more girls informally to maintain pledge class sizes)
