getting dropped/withdrawing from recruitment

I rlly wanted to be in DG or DZ but they both dropped me. I didn't rlly connect with any other girls in other sororities so should i just withdraw? Do those sororities usually informally recruit? If they do informally recruit is it easier to get in that way?

DZ almost always informally recruits where as DG has only informally recruited once in 10 years. Sometimes it is easier to rush informally but they do know if they dropped you or not going into the informal process

You can’t go through informal recruitment until a year has passed since formal recruitment

But if you didn't commit to a sorority and dropped before can't you do informal in the spring? I thought you only have to wait a full calendar year to rush again if you already committed to a sorority than dropped it

@jess: ONLY IF you dropped from formal recruitment BEFORE SIGNING A BID CARD can you then take immediate advantage of any COB and informal recruitment opportunities.

No one waits a year to informal/COB unless they made the big mistake of signing their bid card/MRABA then dropping out from the house they were assigned.

If you DID sign a bid card then dropped your new sorority, YES, you do wait one calendar year to re-rush.
