dz vs aphi

DZ and Alpha Phi are both great chapters here at DePaul, and yes they are considered the top two sororities here.

DZ: Very "city girls". Very philanthropically involved, hot girls, most come from money. Yes, there is a catiness and superficialness with these girls to an extent, not everyone, but you will find that in this chapter being that it is the top. They are definitely a step above Alpha Phi. They go out a lot, but you will find DZ's at usually the elite and top places in Chicago rather than at a house party or a local small bar.

Alpha Phi: More diverse than DZ, but less united. A lot of divide between friend groups//cliques. Also has a lot of very attractive girls, but you will find girls of all kind (looks-wise). Not as involved and big on philanthropy as DZ, yes they have red dress, but DZ is more constantly involved with philanthropy. You'll find some catty stuck up girls in aphi just like in DZ, but also can find girls that don't ever go out/party.

It's obvious that both of these sororities compete for the number 1 spot at DPU and it's clear that the first post was an angry delta zeta. But you want to know the difference between the two sororties?

Absolutely nothing. Both have very hot girls and both are the most social with the occasional non social and non attractive member. Both are relatively wealthy and both are involved because you see Aphi and dz letters everywhere and hear about them the most. And both obviously compete with each other for number 1 because you see posts constantly promoting their own sorority and knocking down the other. Which of course mind boggles me because in my opinion how u promote ur self isn't by putting the other one down or emphasizing how selective or hot you are..

The reality is that is that as much as they try to constantly one up eachother the only difference is their philanthropies and their actual letters .. And since we're talking about it if top tier means highlighting how ur the best and the hottest than maybe being initiated in a SISTERHOOD isn't for you..

Okay yeah Aphi and dz compete here's the actual break down.

Aphi - most competitive sorority on campus - most selective during recruitment, most involved ( they have won almost every Greek competition like derby days and puzzle Palooza), and most majority of good lookin ladies. Aphi has been known for being best for years and primarily if you ask any Greek life person they will tell you they are known for being preppy party girls
Dz - known for their sisterhood. While Aphi seems like the best sorority it is very snobby cliquey and stuck up. Dz has a better sisterhood and is working on becoming more involved as a whole. Most can be very attractive as well but lately the classes keep downgrading which is unlike them

They are the exact same, except Alpha Phi is known for being more selective and more attractive. Delta Zeta is known for their philanthropy.
