junior looking to rush in the fall

by: curiosity

Hi--
So I'm a transfer student with the intentions to attend DPU in the fall and I was just wondering if it's common to rush when you're a junior. Or if it's a "just try and see what happens" kind of thing. I know my friend's sorority at U of I doesn't accept juniors but she said every school is different. Thanks!

It's not common, but it's not uncommon. Lets put it this way, say you have 10 girls. 5 are freshman, two are sophomores, two are juniors and one is a senior. That's kind of how it is at DePaul. Juniors and seniors do go through recruitment, but it isn't that high of a number. Now in terms of accepting juniors, I don't know. I feel like all of the sororities would be welcoming as long as you're willing to participate and be as active a sister as you can be. :)

depaul greek life is not intense, you have a good shot, a better shot than other schools that is for sure.

I'm transferring to DPU in the fall. I'll also be a junior and was thinking about rushing as well, if that helps at all!
