From someone who has spent a lot of time with girls in aopi, if you got to know most of the girls you'd understand how/why they are in it. If you're a bigot, then you make comments about "diversity". To say that they are only big because they take everyone is BS. Its common knowledge that they worked their butts off to get here and they did well with recruitment because girls actually wanted them. Accept it and stop to discredit it. At least they made quota and got a lot of gems out of it.

I dont usually pay attention to this crap but spreading lies about any chapter is absolutely not okay. Two of my really good friends are in aopi and all they talk about is how much they love it and how this chapter has changed their lives. Even though they are the largest on campus, ive never seen two aopis walk past each other, ignore each other or not know each other's names. Thats real sisterhood. As for thinking of each girl as a way to pay for the bills, thats just absolutely ridiculous.

They did recruit prettier girls this year but those girls are still socially awkward and closed off.

I've surprisingly seen a lot of really good looking girls and decent looking girls in this chapter lately. Their only real downside is that they dont make an effort to get to know more people outside of their chapter.

Like every chapter they have a lot of great, sweet girls and some not so nice girls however I genuinely admire these girls for how classy and funny they are. I overheard a few of them saying nothing but nice things when asked about another chapter and stayed away from smack talking. Say what you want but aopi is one of the most well rounded chapters at DePaul.

AOPis are proud of their choice & confident in their sisterhood. I've never met a pretentious, snobby, or high maintenance AOPi. Always classy, & generally sweet girls. Plus, their pledge class should make most other chapters jealous.

Ive seen a lot of them in letters today mostly new faces. Mostly average and normal girls with a handful of real gems sprinkled in. They seem pretty happy and proud about their choice though. Congrats aopi on the new additions!

Im genuinely happy for this chapter. Their success really shows how a handful of dedicated girls can inspire change in a chapter. Got a lot of cute girls and my opinion and respect for them has seriously grown. Panhel love!

Overall these girls are nice, funny and down to earth. They really are a mix of everything but I guess it honesty works for them. The only thing they dont do is reach out to more people. What's the point of fixing your chapter and then not showing it off?
