This chapter is full of freaks. You will be counting down the minutes until your session is over with them during recruitment. It was actually painful to sit through because the girls are weird and dorky.

I've yet to meet a Chi O girl that wasn't a complete sweetheart. Some of them are party girls but most aren't the type to go out - more like wine night kind of girls. But honestly very sweet and smart girls. My sister is a sophomore this year and planning to rush and I don't want to push her towards Chi O but that's where I'd feel the most comfortable with her being given how real their sisterhood actually seems.

Dirty rushed so hard. Girls are cliquey, catty, and mean, and don't even seem to like each other. Watched a group of them purposely abandon a very drunk sister at McGees on her birthday because they wanted to keep partying... yikes. I do know two girls in the sorority really really well though and they're some of the nicest, most hardworking girls I know - but it's worth noting that they hate each other over sorority drama so...

I know most of the perceived sisterhood at most sororities is blown up and exaggerated online, at events, etc. and of course any group of girls will have some drama but honestly I haven't seen very many other sororities as fake about sisterhood as AOII. Very unwelcoming and none of them really like each other. Individually there are some nice girls and they interact well publicly but personally knowing a lot of their drama (from living with two AOII roommates) made me see how fake it really is. That being said, their philanthropy events are really cool and cute and they've pulled them off well every time I've gone.

Wow our sorority set up a mixer with them literally MONTHS in advance and when we showed up they probably had like three guys and four bottles of booze. That's not a deal breaker since it was still a little early BUT when we went to drink, they legitimately didn't have CUPS. who doesn't have cups??? How hard is it to plan enough to get cups??? So we stick around because they promise to get cups. But then these random girls start coming in? Not part of our sorority. And this is a closed mixer. They say they're gonna stop letting randoms in but they keep letting in a slew of random girls even while they're bouncing. It's still barely salvageable so we try so hard to give it a chance. One of our girls pops open a bottle of Grey Goose and we're passing it around because NO CUPS but one sip and we're like WAIT something's wrong. It's watered down to almost nothing!!!! After all of the allegations surrouding them, after all the chances, they tampered with the drinks??? Absolutely unacceptable. One minute it's water, who knows what else. Don't trust them and honestly my sisters and I feel so disrespected.

there are some awkward girls but also some really cool and funny ones

definitely not party girls or social by any means but they seem to have a great sisterhood and make their presence known on campus. some of the classiest and smartest girls and they care deeply about their philanthropy and academics. one of the higher middle tiers.
