I agree they're a random mix from around campus, but they're brotherhood actually seems pretty close. Possibly because their pledging is rumored to be the toughest on campus. They throw a lot of parties and get a lot of hate for trying too hard.

not a close brotherhood - random mix of athletes, young life crowd, and lots of stoners. whole school knows all of their pledging stuff. some stuff to work out

They are heavily involved on campus: SGA, athletics, BSC, Bonner, and chidsey. For a small frat, they are really noticeable on campus. I think it's really cool that they are extremely passionate about social justice issues. If I could do it over again I would've been an Alpha, just like MLK.

A lot of people call them try-hards, but I always got the vibe they were just generally good guys. Definitely one of the strongest, if not THE strongest brotherhood on campus. Most of the criticism seems to come from Phi Delts or KSigs, for whatever reason.
