gpa

by: Future Rushee

My GPA from last semester was a C+ average, what sorority do you think I'll be able to get into? Are there certain GPA requirements for each chapter on campus? Or do they stick with the 2.5 minimum requirement to join a sorority.

It depends..... if your gpa was a 2.5 in high school you have a chance with Delta Zeta and Phi Mu. But double check on Delta Zeta...

For High School Alpha Phi requires a 2.6 + (I'm not sure if they have raised it though)

AOpi and Tri delt a 2.75? and Kappa & AXID a 3.0

and if thats your college gpa i think AOpi, Tri Delt or Aphi might accept a 2.5

but Phi Mu forsure.... they need what they can get

That is my college GPA! So do they look at my last semester GPA? Or overall college gpa?

They look at your overall college gpa

And undergrad meaning continuing freshman sophomore junior or senior they will only look at your college overall gpa

If you are a first time freshman they look at your high school overall gpa

And so for some of the sororities like aopi and tri delta they will accept a 2.5 college gpa? And the rest would be higher? Which of the sororities have a higher gpa requirement?

I know tridelt is pretty strict on grades now. You may need a 2.5 to be in good standing. But that's once you are in the house. They look at your grades and take it seriously I always say as long as you keep everything above a 3.0 you will be better off.

AOpi I think is a 2.5 or 2.6? honestly if you have at least a 2.7 college gap you should be good for every house.

One of my best friends has a diagnosed learning disability. She couldn't join my house, because the bean counters wouldn't wave the GPA requirement. It is sorta ridiculous. Sisterhood should be about bonding. Your GPA is your own business really.
