by: Duece BiggaloDoes anyone know Omega Phi? What are your thoughts on them?

Omega Phi is a non-IFC frat, only at CSUN. Similar to TOP, as in they aren't nationally recognized or insured by a national organization. I've never heard about an Omega Phi party, never seen their letters around campus, don't see them at philanthropies, etc. Needless to say, don't waste your time. Go IFC.

If you have no interest in building extensive alumni connections, visiting brothers at different schools, and having your brothers not being held accountable by an institution higher than CSUN, a non-IFC fraternity is the way to go buddy. In the end, go with the house that you vibe the most with.

Is it really that important to be national? TOP is up there in ranks and they aren't IFC. It doesn't seem like being IFC has to do with anything. Honestly, I feel like all houses have something unique to offer other than different types of hazing.
