rushing as a jr. year transfer (sorority)

Is it worth trying to rush a sorority as a transfer student? I am going to be a Jr. I am 23...
I know girls are catty and judge mental, any suggestions or advice?

Honestly I would say it's a good idea, because of all the networking you get. You also get many opportunities and do volunteer work along with making friends. In any sorority you decide to go for there is always gping to be those jugemental people BUT there's also those who you'll get along with so much and end up being close friends with all your life. I hope that helps a bit:)

Do it. I did. And I thought it was gonna suck being 21 with a bunch of 18-17 year olds. But it didn't I found other girls in the same boat as me and now I love it. Just come into rush with an open mind. If you really listen and take notes on each house you'll find where you belong. Just remember you put in what you get out of this experience. If you don't like it then you don't have to accept a bid.

You should definetly go through recruitment and see how you like it! It will give you a great college experience!

Girls will be girls, any house you join will have a few bad apples but that doesn't mean you won't find the other hundred ripe ones!
