the scene is absolutely nuts. way better than two years ago. greek life is becoming more better and everything about it is just amazing

CSUN turned out to be a great fit for me. I wasn't sure I would like going to a school so close to my home, but I ended up rushing and clicked with a group of girls who are fun and know how to have a good time. If you are looking to join a sorority, make sure you check out ALL the houses. These boards are not a good way to decide who to rush. There are a lot of negative things being said about great people.

CSUN has a small greek system. The party scene is very small unless you're part of one of the party fraternities. These parties have tight guest lists. The girls are average compared to UCLA, USC, or other schools. The same goes for the guys. Only 3 fraternities(Phi Delt, Sigma Chi, Phi Psi) and 2 sororities (Tri Delta and Alpha Phi) have actual houses, but a lot of others have satellite houses. NOT THE BEST SCHOOL TO EXPERIENCE GREEK LIFE
