freshman curious about greeklife

Hello everyone,
I am an incoming freshman from a different state and I was wondering if the sororities here have a ranking system. Can anyone give a description of each and maybe their rank? Thank you in advance. Cant wait to start at California State University San Marcos.

All groups are great! There really is no ranks here at CSUSM. All the groups have their strengths and challenges. Please take the opportunity to meet women from all the orgs during the fall semester so you get to know each of the groups and learn about them. Welcome to CSUSM and we are excited to welcome you to the Greek Community!

Two of the groups are going to have to COB or Continuous Open Bidding in the fall because they will be below chapter total. This is because they have lost girls due to self suspension, ??? etc. You can try to join one of these groups in the fall or you can wait for all 4 groups to go through formal recruitment in the spring.

The chapters could also be below chapter total because of girls graduating this past semester.
