I hope this new president gets the fraternity installed. They are great guys and they are working their ass off! I have a friend in sigma chi who goes to CSUSB and they told me that sigma chi has the hardest installation process. Props to you guys for dealing with all the negativity. Keep up the good work!

Definitely have some work to do and some growing pains to go through, but I know these guys are doing well and on their way to greatness. Very kind young men! A lot of people get on their case about their instillment, but I know some guys from the UCSD chapter, an award winning chapter setting the bar at their institution, and it took them a little over three years to be installed. It is an extremely rigorous process. Seems like CSUSM's Greek system needs to be a bit more supportive...

NEW ON GREEKRANK

Need some serious work. Since they can't manage to charter, they are taking up room for other frats to come on. Saw a major decline in efficiency and success once Arthur graduated. They couldn't even get us our shirts on time for their own philanthropy. Also their grades are weighing the Greek GPA down. You guys need to get it together.

Oh gosh, i'm not sure where to even begin. First off, "can't manage to charter" isn't a direct reflection of the local colony, their national organization's expansion committee was restructured over the last two years, and they were given new expansion guidelines to meet which set them back almost a whole year, and forced an entire overhaul of how they ran their colony. Chartering this fraternity is nothing like chartering an NPC group. The campus agreed to accommodate these changes, So blame your organization's leaders for not taking more action if it upset you so much. This restructuring may have caused the "decline" you claim to have seen. You, being in a sorority with 100+ members, probably can't understand that you have to run things differently when you double in size in a year. Even though i doubt anyone shares that "decline" opinion, because Sigma Chi, in spite of being a colony, grew, retained more members, had more greek involvement, more offices held in other organizations than other fraternities, held their first formal, had the most participation hours in Derby Days yet, held more philanthropy events than years prior... etc...Also the shirts were in on time, so that statement was a flat-out lie. Regarding grades, Sigma Chi has the second highest Fraternity GPA. The term prior, Sigma Chi had the highest. Who's really weighing our greeks down? Maybe instead of telling them to pull it together, you should pull your argument together.

Could improve but they definitely are getting there compared to last year! I am excited for what is to come with them and knowing that they will soon be the top house with the amount of guys that are involved and changing the look of their fraternity from two years ago. Keep up the work

Very kind guys who take the time to get to know others. Seems like some work needs to be done here and there, but that comes with any group. It seems like a lot of them are involved on campus and that is always a plus.

They are seriously stepping up and it shows that SAE is intimidated. Their derby dance off was amazing and these guys are very genuine and sweet!

Sigma Chi is honestly getting up there. They may not uphold the same fratty standard that SAE upholds, but this fraternity has many genuine, respectable and intelligent men. Not to mention a lot of them are very involved on campus. Chill with the mean comments. They're a growing fraternity, and they have to start somewhere right?

Still have some work to do, they're nice guys, but from what I can tell they are pretty awkward around new people speaking purely from my own observation . I Went to recruitment last time as a Freshman and didn't like this one that much and didn't get a bid from the other one because my grades were too low. Hopefully this year will be better
