Only fraternities that matter are ATO and KA because they are the only true Southern fraternities on campus. Sigma Chi is a Northern fraternity that tries way too hard to act super fratty and Southern. PIKE is also technically Southern by origin but rarely lives up to that fact and are always on probation. The rest of the fraternities have their own GDI niche, but I wouldn't envy you for joining one of them.

Well it's obvious from looking at the reviews on both the fraternity and sorority page that SororityGirl, SquirrelGirl, and FratStar are the exact same person and is definitely an Alpha Gam based on how much love she shows only to Pike and Alpha Gam. Good job hiding your sorority identity. Good thing you're not a Gamma Chi or you'd be charged with dirty rushing just for walking into a room of PNMs. No offense to the other classy ladies of AGD who are not as shallow as this sister.

Sigma Chi has all types of guys, obviously to the outsider you're only going to focus on the guys that go extreme and dress very fratty, compared to all the other guys that are just normal guys, you probably sit on the outside and barely know the majority of them. As far as ATO and KA go, ATO isn't good here at all and yeah KA is from the south, they also treat everyone that isn't one of them like crap. And ATO and KA were founded in Kentucky right? Sigma Chi was founded in Ohio, that's literally one state up, maybe a 4 or 5 hour drive, all chapters are different. I know KA has mostly southern chapters, should the Sigma Chi fraternity apologize for having all kinds of people in ALL parts of the nation?

Why isn't SAE and Phi Delt at ASU ?

First of all ATO and KA were both founded in the heart of Virginia which was the epicenter of Southern culture and influence in antebellum and post-civil war days and by Confederate veterans no less aka Real Men of Loyalty, Chivalry, and Honor. Sigma Chi on the other hand was founded over a dispute with their own brothers of Delta Kappa Epsilon over who should be the leader of a campus literary society at Miami (OH) University. A literary dispute and being just a break-away of your big brother fraternity with no originality = complete joke. Plus, yes you are in the South and will be held to its standards, so don't be so defensive just because you're not a Southern fraternity. Sigma Chi is actually acceptable at many SEC schools because they have accepted their environments and embraced them. And yes I do think they should apologize for being an international fraternity when KA and ATO have American chapters only. (just kidding, to each his own)

ASU doesn't have SAE and Phi Delt because no previous interest groups asked those nationals for help to become a chapter in their realm. ASU does not seem to be open to any more fraternity expansion anyways since all "Frat Row" lots are now either leased or occupied in addition to the fact that most campus fraternities are still working on getting their numbers up before they become completely overwhelmed by the sororities (not sure if that's a bad thing) For some reason, the only SAE and Phi Delt chapters in the state are at the U of A.
