Definitely not. SDT is the most inclusive sorority on campus. They have by far the lowest dues and are the only sorority that offers very extensive financial aid to all sisters. The allegations were entirely misplaced And completely due to miscommunications between a very small group of sisters

The president of sdt resigned, but she is still a sister and not disaffiliating. Although the traditionally wealthy and white nature of panhellenic greeklife played a role in her decision, the situation was not about racism from within the chapter. Sdt stands out in its commitment to diversity (without tokenizing) and financial inclusivity through fundraising. It is so sad to see such a great chapter have to deal with this gossip.

Greek life in general at Columbia needs to do better in terms of diversity. While SDT is one of the most diverse sororities on campus it does not deflect the fact that race did in some form play a role in the president stepping down, as mentioned in the comment above. Racism is a serious topic and the greek community needs to do better at addressing these topics.
