are barnard students allowed to join sororities

Hi. I am a girl who was admitted to Barnard College for this upcoming fall. I was wondering: are Barnard students allowed to join Columbia sororities? Do sororities give priority to Columbia girls over Barnard girls during recruitment?

Barnard women can join sororities. As far as I know, CC/SEAS/GS women aren’t given priority over Barnard women.

Absolutely. As a matter of fact, if you go to each chapter's web site and read member bios you will see that there are as many Barnard girls in each chapter as there are CU girls. Formal rush and recruitment occurs in the spring semester. Registration is in late fall.

Yes you can!! Some sororities are even majority Barnard, or almost.
