cob or formal?

I already know which chapter I want to be in and that they do COB in the fall and spring... I don't really want to have to go through the whole formal process but I want to be part of the entire pledge process and the big group, instead of the small group in the fall. Should I just do COB or should I wait for formal so I can be part of the big PC?
(their PC was 10 in the fall cob and 50 in the spring formal and cob my friends said)

formal can be a really hard process for a lot of people, and it can be exhausting... however, you're going to have to be part of it whether you're a new member or initiated sister
personally, I would choose COB cause i would rather have more time with sisters, have the resources of the chapter available to me earlier, etc, especially if you already know which chapter you want
also keep in mind, no chapter is going to promise you a bid, but chapters that do cob (gphi, aopi) are definitely easier to get into since they're new and still trying to reach total/quota
You have the summer to decide whether or not you want to cob but if I were you I would just go for it!
