Important to keep in mind that popularity is subjective. Some of the people I know in AOII are objectively some of the most popular (in the truest sense of the word) girls I know at Columbia in that they have tons of friends, vibrant social lives, and are well liked. Some of the girls in more traditionally "popular" sororities are pretty universally hated, and sometimes with those houses, if you mention you're in that house people automatically judge you. AOII girls are nice and well liked which is what really matters - honestly when you graduate college will you be able to say you're proud of your organizaton? Columbia is not a school where a superficial greek life is particularly valued or thought highly of. That being said, AOII girls are some of the nicest and friendliest girls I've met at this school, and it's worth noting that they seem to have a truly amazing sisterhood, which is supposedly (I'm a guy) why girls join sororities in the first place. Their priority is each other. That's pretty valuable and hard to find in college.

These girls are some of the most ambitious I've met on campus. They're a good time to party with, but will be up the next day at 9 am if they have a Case Interview to prep for. Diversity in income level and hotness. Some are model-worthy-some not so much.

Let me add in what Tim said.. the girls are actually very fun... they just have to be truly ranked low due to involvement and a lack of a house.

They just arent popular.... It is just the truth.. Honestly these girls deserve a house and they deserve recognition for being formed at Barnard, this school discriminates against Barnard women constantly tbh...but they just are not as popular as other sororities so I had to give this honest rating, I still love you guys.

I love these girls! Mixing with them the past few years has been nothing less than amazing and honestly I have yet to meet a sister there who isn't smart, attractive, ambitious, and cool in general.. I cannot say that for all sororities tbh (hell I can hardly say that about all of my brothers lolz) anyways yeah We all love AXO.
