true tiers based on #s
by: honest
these are the tiers based on numbers, and they will probably continue to stay like this for a while - (in no order)
top : piphi, kappa, chio
middle : zeta, tridelt, KD
lower : aopi, adpi, phi mu, achio
every sorority has mixed types of girls and all have good and bad things about them. these are strictly tier based. not popularity or attractiveness or whatever. there are girls that are great and girls that honestly suck in EVERY single sorority.
:) whatever you do, just go Greek. woo pig.

No, not everyone gets a bid. The ONLY way you are guaranteed a bid is if you make it to Pref Night and list EVERY house you preffed on your bid card. This is called "maximizing your options" and guarantees you will get a bid to one of those houses.
The main reasons girls actually get cut are:
1. Grade risk: <3.5 for freshman and <3.0 for upperclassmen
2. Not having recs
3. "Questionable moral reputation"
However, the main reason you won't get invited back is that the chapter's parties filled up before they got to your name on the list. Ie, if a top tier chapter can only have 850 PNM's come to Round 2 and they submit a list of 950 PNM's they would like to invite back, if those 850 party spots fill up before they get to your name (based on the PNM's rankings of the houses they'd like to go back to) then you won't get an invite. You weren't technically cut because the chapter had you on the invite list, just not high enough up it.
This is more common than actually being cut for a reason, which is why you can't take cuts personally during rush and why you shouldn't stress about "why" the chapter didn't invite you back.
