With almost 1600 girls going through rush in the fall... does that mean that girls will get cut? More girls means less bids right? Freaking out here...

I can't tell you for certain, but that has never happned before! Since more girl are going through more bids will be given. It's a proportional relationship!

what is the status on new groups being added to the greek system. the numbers are getting too large for chapters to handle each year. 120+ pledge classes is too big.

Quota (the number of PNM's each sorority can take) is determined by how many women attend Preference Round. For example:

Arkansas has 10 sororities. So say 1000 women attend Pref., then Quota would be 100.

If 2000 attended Pref, Quota would be 200.

If 5000 attended Pref, Quota would be 500.

PNM's and chapters aren't penalized if more women go through. Make sense?
