hazing

I know that this is a sensitive and very private subject but I would love some insight! Do any of the sorority houses haze? Or have you heard any stories? I have a sister who is in a sorority currently and they had a very strict no hazing policy. I'm not saying that I would not want a house if they did haze. It just depends on the hazing. I have heard some people say that they wished they had been hazed because it brings the PC closer together. But in the past few years a sorority at my sisters school got caught hazing and it was definitely a type of hazing that I wouldn't put myself through!!! So I guess I would love some insight because I would hate to fall for a house and pref it but end up dropping it because their hazing was too extreme for me. I really hope that someone can answer me, I know that this is an unspoken of thing and I'm not asking to know the secrets of the houses, I just want a little heads up! Thanks.
