pref
by: ElisaIf you go to 2 sororities on pref are you guaranteed a bid if you list them both on your pref card? A friend who goes to a different school mentioned the possibility of something called being cross cut. I was wondering if that is a possibility at Arkansas or if listing both pref houses guarantees you a bid.

I am not 100% sure on this issue and it would be a great question for your gamma chi or the greek life office but if that were to happen (and I am not aware of it happening to anyone) that would be incredibly RARE. For two houses to keep you all week and then both decide to cut you would be HIGHLY unlikely, so it isn't something I would worry about!

Each sorority makes out a list. The top half are (A)s and the bottom half are (B)s. If every pnm on XYZ's A list chooses them, then woohoo, that is their list of new members. However, when a PNM chooses another house, a girl from XYZ's b list moves up to their A list and so on and so forth. Another way to look at it. Lets say you pref XYZ and EFG but you put XYZ first. If you are on XYZ's B list and dont make it up, you will be on EFG's bid list. The system works out the kinks, but even if you are on two B lists, you will most likely get a bid.
