spring rush?

Do some of the sororities do informal rush or bid days in the spring because I had my heart set on joining a sorority but I won't be able to go through the rush process in the fall.

Some houses do and some houses don't but nothing is guaranteed. With 1600 girls going through in the fall (a record breaking number) some of the houses that have done continuous open bidding (COB) in the past might not need to this year. I'm not trying to say that there will be no COB this year, I just want you to know that it is a possiblity that not as many houses will be participating.
My advice to you is as the spring semseter begins send an email to each chapter asking them if they are participaring in COB this year. If they are, ask them to keep your contact incormation on file so that they may invite you to COB events as they happen! It's very hard to participate in COB if you don't reach out.
