What is a RIF? And what sororities require them in the recruitment process?
Also what are portfolios composed of and do we send them with our registration?

A RIF is a "recruitment information form" that is filled out by alum when recommending a PNM. Go to uark PanHellenic and click on the "recruitment" tab and you should find the information you need to register. I tried to include a link but this site wouldn't let me. Portfolios have your resume, a picture, a thank you note to the alum that is writing the reference for you and a SASE for the alum to mail the reference in to the sorority she is writing the reference to. Some people them in a folder, others do not. No need to spend a ton of $$ for this.

Offically, no house requires RIFs to participate in recruitment. With such a large number of girls going through this year (1600) it'll be easy for houses to cut you if you don't have a RIF. Nothing personal, mthey just need to get numbers down fast and this is an easy way to do it. Try your hardest to get 1 RIF for each house but don't lose sleep if you couldn't find an alum for a house.
Again, offically no one can require a RIF to particpate.
