If you have photos of you doing illegal things, tweets where you cuss up a storm, or too many recently taken mirror selfies to count, than common since should tell you to TAKE THEM DOWN! If your profiles indicate your interest are compatible with a certain house it could be a plus. Most of the time, if you have clean and ordinary content on your profile your conversations with the members will be what determines if you come back, and social media will not make much of a difference one way or another. Just use your best judgement and you should not have too worry about that.
