rushing while black

I really want to rush in the fall. I am already nervous to rush, but the fact that I am rushing historically white sororities as a black woman is making me even more nervous. Should I even bother? If I do get a bid, will I still be treated differently? Also, do any of the sororities already have any black sisters?

I appreciate everyone's input!

Don't be worried!! Definitely go through rush. Multiple sororities have black members and are not opposed to having any! Don't let the news lately get to you. Have a good gpa, Rec letters, and be easy to talk to and you shouldn't have an issue in recruitment!
