Supposedly DZ and Alpha Gam are presenting to Panhellenic. Has anyone else heard about this?

DZ is one of the top 4 largest national sororities.

DZ is not a top sorority anywhere and is not in a "largest" group.
however, it is very average and has lots of average, very nice, good girls as members. it is nowhere near chi o, or ddd and never will be.

I will never understand why people put so much emphasis on national reputation or where else a sorority is at. Someone in another thread said the 2 top sororities at Alabama are the 2 bottom here - if national reputation really was everything wouldn't the same groups be on top everywhere across the country?

DZ before AGD -- they're good (though not top) at Auburn, Florida, UGA, LSU, and Tennessee. Alpha Gam's only strong chapters in the SEC are at Alabama and Auburn.

If the top tier sororities do not want to take part in the expansion, what does that say about us? Do we have to accept low tier groups?

Why didn't Theta and other top tiers apply? Or were they turned down to make sure that only bottom tier would be selected?

Pi Phi, Theta, Kappa = the top of the top. Don't know why Theta wouldn't submit a packet - could be housing?

I wonder if since DZ and Alpha Gam are not rock stars on any of the Arkansas campuses where they have chapters maybe that tell us that they really don't fit on our campus. Is that one of the reasons Ole Miss did not invite DZ to come on campus after their recent expansion period?

I always thought Alpha Gamma Delta had a strong presence at Arkansas State? I am pretty sure one of their girls was Miss Arkansas a few years ago.

Probably is miffed that UA allowed KD on campus the same year Theta left knowing Theta was a struggling chapter (they had been for many years from what I understand).
