You ARE joking... Or high... and obviously haven't been at Sigma Chi Derby Days for the last few years....

because SIgma Chi Derby Days is definitely the only event during the entire year that matters when it comes to whether or not a sorority is good...Oh wait...

it be nice if this site went away - forever? This ranking business is awful. Why does ANYONE think it is necessary to be rude in this way? Who the hell are you to decide who is a top house and who is a bottom house and who is a middle house? Who the hell are you to judge ALL the girls in the house with the same assessment? The Greek houses should all support one another. We are not in high school anymore. Let everyone be happy where they are and quit judging each house against another one. Every house can be judged on its own merits!

Sigma Chi Derby Days is a very significant event on this campus because it lasts all week and requires a lot of involvement. It is one of many things to use as a barometer. The houses that do well at Derby Days are usually the well-rounded ones. I think the Sigma Chi frat would agree. By the way...who all placed?

I don't know about all of them, but the ones I can describe with a "type" from my years here are...
Kappa....high school cheerleaders, never without makeup
Tri Delt...Grace Kelly, beautiful
Chi O...Blanche Lincoln
PiPhi...reserved, with an attractive, "hippy" look
No order, but all good in different ways.

those "types" aren't even accurate anymore...but people try to hold onto those with dear life...no one wants to admit anything changes here, but it does.
Those are all still top houses,yes, but they are not all perfect like people try to make them seem...and there are other houses that have been coming up and improving for quite some time now and they're finally starting to get up there and compete with them.

Those "types" mentioned below at still pretty accurate. I still am active on campus, and while there are groups in the houses hat differ, the majority fit in with the " type". That's why they " choose" each other. None of this means other houses can't emerge with their own cool "type".
