how do connections work?

If you have connections you would know it, if you don't have them they are not something you can just go try to get before rush. Having connections means that you and sorority actives have already known each other, or known of each other, from high school or hometown, friends of friends or family, church or summer camp, etc. Or you could be going through as an upperclassman and have connections to sorority members from being here for a year.
