Advice for PNMs
by: Senior piggie
To all the PNMs getting excited about seeing all the comments on your Instagram posts from current sorority members; just don’t. It’s done year after year (members are literally assigned a list of PNMs to provide comments on their Instagram all summer long).
Tri Delt is notorious for doing this, and it’s giving false hope to the PNMs. They will cut you without batting an eye.
It’s done so you will place them high on your list.
Just be warned. I’ve known so many girls who were absolutely crushed by Tri Delt because they thought they were “in”. So many cries of “why did they make me feel like they wanted me if they really didn’t?”
It’s a game.

This post is so true. Tri Delt, Kappa, and Zeta do this. Follows on socials mean nothing either. They follow you, like, comment, and send dm’s hoping that you will rank them high. If you do not personally know the girls reaching out to you on social media, mark my words, they will release you at some point during recruitment. It gives false hope, especially for pnms without connections.
