PNMs PLEASE READ!!!

Hi girls! I just graduated and I wanted to post some positive and true content on here. If you want my honest option, I was in what is considered a “top” house and I really didn’t see a difference in my house and any of the others. All sororities have functions, have sisterhood events, and have cute tshirts. I am friends with several girls from all different houses which tells me that I genuinely could have fit in anywhere. I think ranking is so dumb. We need to stop comparing and pitting sororities against each other. I would consider myself a well-rounded girl that focuses on grades and loves meeting new people! So many people think I am in a different sorority than I am!

Go where your heart tells you to go — you can’t make a wrong decision I promise, and I am not just saying that. All types of girls are in every sorority and I have found my people in not only my own sorority but other ones as well!!

I always told girls on pref night that you want to pledge the sorority that you can visualize holding the little sign with your name across it on bid day!

Do not get caught up in what this website says. Every girl has their own opinion and thinks that their house is the best (which makes sense because of course you think your house is #1 duhhh ;)) BUT it is not okay to spread lies or rank houses out of envy or hate! So don’t listen to it and stay off this website — all it does is make you more nervous, overwhelmed, and in your head (I know yall probs won’t listen to me bc I also got on this website, but I am trying to give big sister-like advice)

I also wanted to say that no matter what house you end up getting a bid from it is up to you to make connections and build relationships. It is all about the effort you put into the sorority that defines what your experience will be like. Freshman year is hard no matter what and you will grow as a person in so many ways. There is a lot of tension and bitterness on this website. Don’t be fooled by it because your Greek life experience is what YOU MAKE OF IT! Keep your head up recruitment is fun and overwhelming all at the same time — you got this ;)
