Top house bid promising/ pre bid
by: helpfulSpoiler for incoming freshman: Not a real thing. If a chi o has promised you a bid don’t believe them they cut most ppl and say that just to try to seem cool, there not. A bunch of legacy girls mainly from ark who are honestly the most random mix of people and don’t have the same vibe, they like to post the same 10 girls and are not well liked by any one else so don’t be sad. Kappa (from what i have heard) doesn’t bid promise girls there fun and cute but a top house so you need connections to get in but they won’t get your hopes up at least and usually play by the panhellenic rules. Pi phi doesn’t bid promise either there way more chill than kappa and chi o but again top house great girls some of my best friends. These three houses are all top tier so expect them to be harder to get into and don’t listen to anyone “bid promising” you. These three are great but other houses are great too!

I would say Chi o try’s hard cause there scared that kappa/pi phi will steal the girls they want idk just seems that way with how hard they try during the summer- Their PC was meh last year to compared to the other two houses so it seems like girls are catching on and going the other two which are better anyways. (coming from a ddd)

top houses have traditions like spring party/sleepovers which is why they do it. pnm’s that have a chance in kappa or chi o look forward to these parties are seniors in hs and want to be invited therefore making the top houses even more exclusive, it’s honestly just for fun and to meet more girls in house/make connections. they def don’t need to have these parties to get girls they just do cause it’s tradition at arkansas, don’t stress tho if u weren’t invited there’s a house for everyone!
