Tri Delt self ranks so bad!

Why do they insist on acting like they have no competition from the other mid houses? I know girls that pledged KD, ADPI over them.
In my group if you didn’t get invited back to the top four then Tri Delt was desirable but no more desirable than the other mid houses.

Agree. It is not the girls that self rank though, it is 100 percent their alumni. They always spend the most money on balloons for bid day but that doesn’t mean they are up there or better than kappa who typically spends next to nothing. Smart girls but overall more on the awkward side and rushing isn’t where they shine. I personally liked adpi (and actually phi mu as well) better during recruitment.

You’re definitely a freshman and I’d bet money you’re AXO. This is how recruitment works. Girls prefer one house over the other all the time. I personally didn’t like KDs I talked to during recruitment last year, but that doesn’t mean the don’t recruit well as a chapter. Personal preference exists and you only get to talk to 2-4 girls from each house. Hope this helps!

Agree. The alumni pour money into their bid day and good for them. It just doesn’t change the rankings

Totally agree with this! Their alumni spend money on bid day but by then they have same awkward pledge class they always have. Friends of Tri delt alums. They compete with KD, phi mu and adpi. Not the top four

This! Alumni have a hard time realizes DDD is not a top house. Great house but really mainly pledge friends daughters or legacies

I know a lot of girls that preffed ADPi and KD over DDD. And DDD probably cut girls going ZTA and Pi Phi because they knew they weren’t going Tri Delt. Every house cuts for that reason. For example, my house tends to not prioritize girls who have an active sister in another house on campus because they’re probably going to go that house. Or if we know you have a best friend in another house we think you’ll go that house, and you probably will.

Go find a kappa and you will find a girl that most likely was cut from all other top houses. Same goes for chi o, pi phi and zeta UNLESS they are from Arkansas and/or had multiple connections in top houses. Tri Delt cutting someone that ended up in Pi Phi means nothing. It’s difficult to look at someone Instagram and see if they have connections in other houses. In my opinion both during recruitment and once on campus DDD is views as a mid house along with KD and maybe adpi or even Phi Mu depending on if you ask a girl or guy.

@Hailey has it exactly right. Being cut by a house often means they did their research and know you have connections elsewhere. Why would DDD keep girls that have 7 kappas liking and commenting on their post?

Yeah the two girls I know that are ZTA got dropped from everything except ZTA and it’s a miracle that they actually got ZTA. I know a bunch of girls that wanted tridelt or kappa and didn’t even get asked back day one never met a single person that wants to go adpi over tridelt or any of the better options.

Y'All hate on ADPi because they're an easy target because they don't care and probably because they're on Oakland. They're cool sweet girls. Unbothered queens. I haven't met one I wouldn't be friends with. Girls I know in ADPi preferred them over Kd, Tri Delt, and Phi Mu (I'm in one of these houses) I hope you grow out of this hater mindset. You're not a girl's girl and you probably don't have any friends outside of your chapter because you're so hateful. Hope you grow out of it babe.

Adpi really? I do think DDD and KD are pretty close to equal but not sure about adpi. I liked axo way better than adpi and think most people do???
