should i bid aoii?

i’m new to the greek life scene. noticed aoii is doing COB and i’m interesting in joining a sorority. every thread on here lists them as the very bottom of the bottom. idk anything about how the ranking system goes. why are they bottom? should this deter me?

I wouldn’t want to be a part of something that is known to be at the bottom.
Think about it. They have to do COB which means they didn’t get as many girls as they needed on bid day. What does that tell you?

Like I said, I don't know much about how it works, so it tells me nothing. That's why I asked. No one can seem to give me a legitimate reason as to why they're a "bottom tier" sorority though. It seems like the ranking system is illegitimate and irrelevant!

COB has everything to do with bid day. If a chapter didn’t make quota, then they participate in COB to fill up those spots.

Everything I’ve seen from AOII has just been flat. No excitement, nobody seems overly happy. Just blah and there. Just my opinion.

If you are in it for the right reasons, yes. AOII has some amazing girls and true sisterhood. If you're in it for name or rank, you should not join Greek life.
